Before confirming your reservation, please take a moment to review the following Terms and Conditions. These outline the responsibilities of both our guests and our company and are designed to ensure a smooth and transparent travel experience for everyone.

1. Booking Policy

All tour bookings with Curious Corners of Africa Safaris require a signed travel agreement, which may be completed electronically. This agreement applies to all travelers listed in the booking and must be signed by the person responsible for the group. Once we confirm your reservation, you will receive an official confirmation email with all relevant details.

2. Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit of the total tour cost is required within 14 days of booking confirmation to secure your reservation.
• The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before your scheduled departure date, and should include your reservation reference number.
• For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is due immediately.
• If payment deadlines are missed, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and retain the deposit.

3. Price Adjustments and Service Changes

While we aim to maintain accurate pricing, certain factors beyond our control may require adjustments. These include:

• Currency exchange rate fluctuations
• Government taxes or park fee changes
• Transportation cost increases

Price changes only apply if your tour is scheduled more than 30 days from the date of contract signing. Essential service changes may occur up to 14 days before departure. If significant modifications are necessary, we’ll offer alternatives or, if required, provide a full refund.

4. Cancellations by the Client

All cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply:

• 30+ days before tour start: 50% of the total tour cost is non-refundable
• Less than 30 days before tour start: 75% is non-refundable
• No-shows or failure to use booked services: No refunds provided
• Deposits for lodging, flights, and third-party services are non-refundable

In select cases, we may assess unused services for potential savings.

5. Cancellations by Curious Corners of Africa Safaris

We may cancel a tour under the following conditions:

• Disruptive or unsafe behavior by any participant
• Minimum group size not reached 30 days prior to departure (full deposit will be refunded)
• Force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, government restrictions)

Whenever possible, we will propose alternative solutions.

6. Responsibility and Liability

While we ensure thorough planning and dependable local partners, Curious Corners of Africa Safaris is not liable for disruptions caused by third-party providers such as airlines, hotels, or transport services.

Travelers are responsible for complying with immigration, customs, and health regulations. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings.

7. Adventure Travel Disclaimer

Exploring Tanzania involves outdoor risks including unpredictable weather, rugged terrain, and encounters with wildlife. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks. We advise guests to:

• Bring personal first-aid essentials
• Wear appropriate clothing and gear
• Carry valid travel insurance that includes emergency coverage

8. Guest Responsibilities

All travelers must:

• Follow safety instructions and guidance from our safari team
• Respect local communities, wildlife, and park rules
• Report any service-related issues promptly
• Avoid any conduct that may disrupt the group experience

Failure to adhere may result in removal from the tour without refund.

9. Passport, Visa, and Health Requirements

It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure compliance with:

• Valid passport (minimum 6 months before expiration)
• Entry visa for Tanzania
• Vaccination requirements, such as Yellow Fever (as applicable)
• Malaria prevention measures

Non-compliance does not qualify for cancellation without penalties.

10. Force Majeure

In rare cases where unforeseen events impact travel plans, we reserve the right to alter or cancel tours. Examples include:

• Natural disasters (e.g., flooding, earthquakes)
• Political instability or war
• Airline strikes or transport failures
• Sudden government restrictions

We will offer feasible alternatives but cannot guarantee full refunds under such circumstances.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. All disputes shall be handled under the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
