Itinerary

Morning: Departure from Arusha to Kilimanjaro National Park

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a hotel pick-up in Arusha at around 6:00 AM. You will embark on a scenic 2-hour drive towards Kilimanjaro National Park, passing through charming local villages, banana plantations, and coffee farms.

Upon arrival at the Marangu Gate (1,870m / 6,135 ft), you will meet your professional mountain guide and receive a short briefing about the trek. After completing the necessary park entry formalities, your 1-day Mount Kilimanjaro hike officially begins.

Mid-Morning: Hiking through Kilimanjaro’s Rainforest

The trek starts with a gentle ascent through lush montane forests, filled with towering trees and a diverse range of flora and fauna. The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is the most popular path for Kilimanjaro trekkers due to its gradual incline and well-maintained trails.
